Sumner REALTORS® Graduates 7 Agents from New REALTOR® Academy

Seven local real estate professionals have earned distinction by graduating from the Sumner REALTORS® New REALTOR® Academy.

The local nonprofit trade organization for more than 1,000 real estate professionals and affiliated companies recognized the agents after a 6-month training program designed to give new agents the resources they need to begin a successful career in the real estate industry.

Agents in the academy attended 6 courses beginning in January and concluding in June, earning 7 hours of Continuing Education credits recognized by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission and completing a combined 14 hours of professional development. The curriculum, prepared and taught by Sumner REALTORS® members, is designed to give new agents a comprehensive introduction to the real estate business by equipping them with what experienced members wish they had known when they first entered the field, including topics such as marketing, time management and finance. The association also offered opportunities for mentorship with an experienced agent.

Sumner REALTORS® created and launched the Academy in 2021 and has graduated 33 members in the first three groups.

The program is completely free for association members thanks to a generous sponsorship from Smith.Sholar.Milliken.PLLC, a real estate and title law firm with offices in Gallatin, Goodlettsville and Nashville.

“The agents who participate in the Academy are investing in themselves and in their businesses. We are proud of these individuals and look forward to supporting them as they jumpstart their careers in real estate and hopefully build long-term success by helping people buy and sell homes in Sumner County and the greater Nashville area,” said Dave Chaney, Chief Executive Officer of Sumner REALTORS®.

The association congratulates the following individuals for completing the New REALTOR® Academy in June:
