JOIN AS A PREFERRED PARTNER

Sumner REALTORS® offers membership and sponsorship opportunities for local companies and individuals who want to be involved in the association. Our Preferred Partners contribute in many ways, from sponsoring events, donating food for education classes, serving on committees, and volunteering their time to help do the work of the association.

Individuals and businesses who are not licensed to sell real estate but have interests in the real estate profession may join the Association as a Preferred Partner. The primary representative from the company holds membership at one of 5 levels in our Partner Program. Other members of an office who join after the initial member, pay $50 each. Dues are due by December 31 of each year. Bronze and Silver membership applications received after July 1 are prorated to half price for the second half of the year.

Partner Application

I hereby apply for membership in and agree to abide by the Constitutions, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations of Sumner REALTORS®, Tennessee REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®, which are made available to me at the office of Sumner REALTORS® and online at their respective websites.


My act of paying dues shall evidence my initial and continuing commitment to abide by the association's Constitutions, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, all as from time to time amended. I irrevocably waive all claims against the association or any of its officers, directors, or members, for any acts in electing or failing to elect, advancing, suspending, expelling or otherwise disciplining me as an applicant or as a member. I will discontinue use of any and all certificates, signs, seals or other indications of membership if my membership expires for any reason. I consent that the association, through its Membership Committee or otherwise, may invite and receive other information and comment about me from any member or other person, and I further agree that any information and comment furnished to the association by any person in response to the invitation shall be conclusively deemed to be privileged and not form the basis of any action by me for slander, libel, or defamation of character.


I understand that my membership does not grant me the license to use the terms REALTOR®, REALTORS®, or REALTOR® Associate, nor the imprint of the emblem seal of the National Association of REALTORS®. I also agree to pay required dues and fees to access membership privileges.


I hereby certify that the information furnished by me is true and correct, and I agree that failure to provide complete and accurate information as requested, or any misstatement of fact, shall be grounds for revocation of my membership if granted.

Note: Payments to Sumner REALTORS® are not deductible as charitable contributions. Such payments, however, may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expenditure.


By signing below I consent the REALTOR® associations (local, state, national) and their subsidiaries, if any (e.g. MLS, Foundations, etc.), may contact me at the specified address, telephone numbers, fax numbers, email address or other means of communication available. This consent applies to changes in contact information that may be provided by me to the association(s) in the future.
