Sumner REALTORS to Host Haunted Hustle 5K/10K Event on Halloween Morning

Sumner REALTORS® is hosting its 3rd annual Haunted Hustle 5K/10K race and community event at the Streets of Indian Lake on Saturday, October 31. Proceeds from the event will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County.

“This is one of the many ways REALTORS® give back to our community. The race has grown since its inception two years ago, and this year we are planning for more people to take advantage of the opportunity to get out, have fun and be around other people in a safe and responsible way. We invite and encourage everyone, from serious runners to families looking for things to do with excited kids on Halloween morning, to participate and help support the great work that Habitat does for people in Sumner County,” said Dave Chaney, CEO of Sumner REALTORS®.

The association, which represents and serves more than 800 real estate professionals in Sumner and surrounding counties, has added a 10K race to the 5K this year. The races begin at 7 a.m. Families can walk the course or participate in the free kids run around the central plaza.  The Hendersonville Farmer’s Market will also take place as scheduled during and after the event.

The Haunted Hustle is free and open to the public. Runners pay a $35 registration fee. All attendees are invited and encouraged to come in costume for a morning of fun, family-friendly activities.
